Field Trips on Friendly Farm!
Children love to get outside and explore but so very often they do not get the opportunity! Friendly Farm is the place to make that happen!
We currently offer our specal program We Bring the Fiel Trip to you!
We bring the animals to your locaton, set up 5 or 6 stations depending on group size. The students get to learn about the critters and pet them.
- Basic package ($7 per student)
- 6 interactive stations
- these stations will discuss the animals job on the farm; what the animal eats(including if it is an omnivore, carnviore or herbivore); classificiation of the animal (mammal, bird, reptile etc and
why);and a hands on time petting,holding, feeding)
- rabbits
- goats
- pigs
- ducks
- chickens
- sheep
These trips meet several common core objectives at different grade levels.
This trip covers 2 hours of active learning.
